Summary
From approximately 9:00AM JST on August 6, 2019 to approximately 11:00AM JST on August 19, 2019, we experienced an unexpected system outage affecting a part of our license management services a total of 7 times (approximately 30 minutes each time). This outage did not affect Forum, Elefab™️, NET CHANGER and our product websites.
Root Cause(s)
An unexpected concentration of loads that our license management service, Quadcept Manager, could not respond to appropriately caused a delay in the connection between Quadcept web services and resulted in a server connection error.
Corrective/Preventive Action(s)
We increased the capacity of our license server, and updated our license management system to address the issue with the connection between Quadcept web services. We also improved the response time for each service with this update.
